Japan Day 3 & 4 - Osaka

Check out the photo blog for more pics!

Beginning of day 3 was spent visiting Osaka Castle, which was pretty much a museum and nothing much else.

Then we went to Namba Station area, where the shopping streets were. Stopped by an okonomiyaki joint for lunch. My fave!

Here they cook the okonomiyaki right in front of you, and you eat it straight off from the hot plate.

Dotondori - a street with lots of eateries.

The night was rainy and so we didn't walk around too much. We had Katsu for dinner, and who knew we would inadvertently stumble into the same restaurant a few days later in Tokyo.

On Day 4, we were supposed to head to Takayama, but a last minute pillow talk concluded that we still did not sufficiently cover Osaka. So it was Osaka instead!
Ebisu street where we cut through after coming out from Namba Station. It was a Saturday and it was packed!!

From Ebisu street, a bridge leads to Shinsaibashi street.

The street got busier as dusk fell...

And once night fell, the billboards light up! Here you can see the classic Glico man! Probably an iconic scene of Osaka.
