Tony Roma's

Thanks to CM & WL for a post birthday treat, Tony Roma's is one of the better places for ribs within whatever limited repertoire of places I know.
A warm crusty french loaf which was fluffy inside, served with herb butter. They used to serve this on a wooden tray. Somehow, this time it was not as addictive as I felt previously.
We ordered half onion loaf, as too much of this will make one 'jelak'. If memory serves me right, there wasn't this much flour coating it, but that was like years ago. Nonetheless, I still prefer this over the Bloomin' Onion at Outback Steakhouse, as there is less flour here and you can actually taste the sweetness of the onions which went well with the BBQ Mayonnaise.
I ordered the Star-studded sampler, which consisted of all four different flavours they had for ribs - Original BBQ, Carolina Honeys, Blue Ridge Smokies and Tony Roma's Red Hots. I love the ranch beans which was sweet, salty and smoky all in one.
Actually, besides being able to identify which slab was the Red Hots because of the spiciness, I am unable to identify which flavour each of the other 3 slabs were. But the ribs were tender and seperate from the bone with ease. Overall, still a good and very filling meal.
