Wild Honey

>> Thursday, January 14, 2010

Had lunch at Wild Honey at Mandarin Gallery, which serves all-day breakfast of various countries from east to west.

Ordered this drink named Queen B, which was a mix of grapefruit, elderflower and honey. Slightly more on the sour side, but I kinda like it.

I decided to be adventurous and tried the Yemeni breakfast, which turned out reminding me of a high class roti prata. It was pretty flaky and moist though, and was actually quite tasty with the sauces.

cknewsstand took the Canadian breakfast, which was buttermilk pancakes with fruit compote and bacon rashers. I tried a little of his pancake, and indeed it was moist and fluffy. Definitely a place to go for pancakes besides Cedele.
